There are quite a few restaurants around Tyrell Bay and the menu is generally fish, chicken, or lambi and potatoes and salad.
The Old Rum Shop is the standby for many cruisers and locals because it is one of the most reasonably priced.
The owners are very curteous and accomodating.
Paul Johnson, a Caribbean legend painted a beautiful mural on this new building that replaced one the hurricane took.
You might feel intimidated by it’s homebuilt feel and big drinking crowd, but don’t let that phase you.
You are very welcome here and may make some new friends.
