Belair Pond is a major source for water.

Workers of the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs while cleaning one of the main ponds on the island.

The Belair Pond located adjacent to the Belair Nursery has been covered with lilies, which prevents usage of the water.

When the cleaning is completed, the pond will be a major source of water supply, especially during the dry season.
District Agricultural Officer Yvonne Samuel added that it will also be utilized both for commercial purposes, as well as for plant irrigation at the nearby Belair Nursery.
