Orange ball corallimorphs are common at this divesite.
It is close to the shore, therefore it not a deep dive on the Limekiln site.

The current here is not strong, hence there is not a lot of strength needed to see a lot.

Bring your underwater camera if possible, you will have many opportunities to take great pictures.

The seaview divesite is located in Tyrell Bay.

  • Max. depth of the diving spot is around 12m/40ft.
  • For beginning divers with little experience, level is easy & relaxed.
  • Awesome for taking pictures underwater.

Superb clear water and not a lot of current.

Tyrell Bay is sheltered against strong currents.
For that reason the Seaview divesite is a relaxing spot.
Ideal if there is too much current at the other divesites.


If you have just started as a scuba diver this is one of your first places to see.

The diving operators will surely take you to the Seaview divespot for several reasons.

First of all, at seaview there is a lot to see.

Secondly you will be able to take many great pictures here.

And finally, it is a safe and easy diving spot with very good visibility.

  • Depth: 9 – 23 metres (27 – 75 feet).
  • Visibility: 40 metres (130 feet).
  • Reef / wall.

Dive at a giant soft coral garden.

Wall full of marine life like nurse-shark, critters, giant green moray-eels, turtles and barracudas.

Not a dive for beginners but very rewarding for the experienced diver.

You get a good visibility at Barracuda Point.
Obviously the visibility is depending on currents and other conditions.

This diving site is close to the spots called Circles and Deep Blue.

The local dive operators sometimes take you to these spots during the same dive.
If that is a good decision depends on your stamina.

Barracuda Point is one of the better places to see larger fish and turtles.

This is a very good site if you are an experienced diver.

Currents can make the Circles a bit challenging.

The dive operators can tell you when conditions are at its best to go diving at the Sisters Rocks.

Obviously there are plenty barracudas at this spot.
Turtles frequent the zone for foraging.

Sponges and vases cover the rocks and corals.
Large amounts of smaller fish in schools, the occasional ray passing by.

You will need experience as a diver and a good condition for this divesite.
Currents can take away your energy sooner than expected.

Deep blue is close to two other great diving sites.

A bit more north Deep Blue is a site called Circles.
If you go even a bit more north you will discover Barracuda Point.

  • Top of the reef at 9 meters (30 ft.)
  • Type of the divesite is a slope/wall to maximum depth of 40 meters (130 ft.)
  • Marine life : black corals, deep water gorgonians, large schools of fish, nurse sharks, giant lobsters, stingray / eagle rays and much more


Deep blue is for the more advanced divers.
A challenging and rewarding dive spot.

Touring around the “Big Sister” you “fly” along the second level of reef-edge at around 20 meters (65 feet).

Large amounts of French Angelfish and creole wrasse.

The coral reef is occasionaly interlaced with sandy bottom parts.
There will be rays in those sandy patches.

On the places where seagrass grows you might spot a turtle foraging.
The lobsters hide between the rocks and crevices between corals.

Seefans wave hello, urchins graze on the corals.

Jack Iron Point is a great place to see turtles,colonies of lobsters, hidden urchins, crabs to fingerprint snails.

This dive site is close to the Point Cistern spot.
